Food Guidelines
Guidelines for entering the Camp:
We are a Torah observant community. We certainly don’t profess to know Torah perfectly nor force our understanding and walk on other believers. But we expect all who come to have a heart for the Word of God, His commandments and His walk as an example for each of us to follow. All should be diligently striving to be as the saint: “Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Yeshua.” Rev 14:12
The minimum standard for coming in to fellowship with us has been set by the apostles in Acts 15 guarding against the teaching of Balaam.
These are (1) no lust for ways of other gods, (2) no lust for other intimacy, and (3) no lust for other food. "Therefore it is my judgment that we do not trouble those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles, but that we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood. Act 15:19-20
With the arrival of Sukkot fastly approaching, we realize that as we grow in YHWH, there will be differences of opinions when it comes to food. Therefore, we have included a link to a standard list which has been researched thoroughly for either clean or unclean food products. We ask that all individuals bring food for the Pot Luck meals, contain the labels of Kosher or use products contained and marked as clean in the list provided by in the link.
